Melissa is a French-American actor based in New York City. Originally from France, she moved to New York City in 2016 and works across stage, VO, and screen. She is a versatile actor drawn to

character-driven storytelling, heightened worlds, and new works. Favorite credits include Men on Boats, West Side Story and Victor/Victoria.

• Developing new works; she's been a cold reader for a weekly playwrights group for the past two years;

• All things History (yes, even that boring Netflix documentary) and plays that focus on making historical events feel relevant today;

• Immigration stories from all eras and countries, Melissa's family tree being one immigration story after another;

• Language and its quirks; she has translated two plays for future productions from English to French;

• Musicals in which the music sets the environment and culture for the show (e.g. Hunchback of Notre Dame, Ragtime, In The Heights);

• Poking fun at the world, herself and French people.
